Baku, 2 August 2021 (TDI) On Monday, Zakir Hasanov, the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, met with officials at the Central Command Post of the Ministry of Defense. The meeting was attended by ministerial deputies, chiefs of important departments, and ministry services, etc. Hasanov issued necessary instructions to the command staff for the completion of the tasks assigned by Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan.
After reviewing recent developments along the Armenian-Azerbaijani state boundary, Hasanov gave an order to be ready for any violation perpetrated by Armenian military forces. He also gave instructions to the command staff regarding the activities of the Azerbaijan Army for the second half of the year such as the acceleration of engineering support for troops, the preparation of military units for the winter period, etc.
The Minister of Defense urged that the issues like combat plan clarification, the regrouping of troops during intensive training, and logistical support, should be given special attention.
