New York, 25 September 2021 (TDI): The Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs & Expatriates, Ayman Safadi met with his counterpart, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium, Sophie Wilmes. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
During the meeting, the two counterparts discussed ways to strengthen ties between the two friendly countries. Matters of mutual interest and cooperation were also discussed. Both agreed to enhance cooperation and collaboration within the framework of the European Union. Most recent international as well regional developments also came under deliberation.
Belgium and Jordan enjoy strong bilateral relations in various domains. The ruling royal families of the two countries have a close relationship, which further augments the ties between the two countries.
