Japan conferred Imperial Decoration to Pakistani Technical Advisor to BoI

Islamabad, 29th September 2021 (TDI): Syed Feroz Alam Shah, Technical Advisor, Federal Board of Investment (BoI), and Director of National Engineering Corporation (NEC), got the 2021 Spring Imperial Decoration, “The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette” from the Government of Japan.

The honor is granted to Syed Feroz for his outstanding efforts in advancing bilateral and economic relations between Japan and Pakistan.

Representing the Government of Japan, the Japanese Ambassador to Pakistan Kuninori MATSUDA conferred this imperial decoration to Syed Feroz on 29 September 2021 at his official residence. Syed Feroz Alam Shah is working for enhancing Japan-Pakistan’s economic relations almost a decade ago.

In Pakistan, Feroz cooperated with the Pakistani Government and played a significant role in the complicated application process and facilitating new business people in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ). Besides the business relationship between the two states, he has contributed to establishing the “Pak-Japan Friendship Society (PJFS)”, and “Pak-Japan Culture Centre in Quetta”. Hence, Syed Feroz has played a huge role in the advancement of economic, cultural, and societal links between Japan and Pakistan.

While addressing at the event, Ambassador MATSUDA, congratulated Syed Feroz on his unique achievement.

He also expressed hope that with Feroz the two states would enhance their bilateral ties. He also wished for friendly state-to-state and people-to-people ties.
