Beirut, (TDI): At least six more people were killed and eight injured as Israel launched fresh deadly air strike Thursday targeting areas in Central Beirut, Al-Jazeera reported.
Citing Lebanon’s Health Ministry, it said that 46 people were killed and 85 injured in Israeli attacks across Lebanon in the previous 24 hours.
It was the second Israeli attack this week that targeted the capital’s central areas.
The fresh attack was carried out after Iran launching its largest missile attack against Israel.

Reuters reported that massive blast was heard first, and citing a security source the report said that a building in central Beirut’s Bachoura neighbourhood close to parliament was targeted.
Separately, Three missiles landed in suburb of Dahiyeh, where Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed last week, and loud explosions were heard.
The Israeli military had issued orders early on Thursday asking people to leave multiple areas of densely-populated southern Beirut, and clearly said that it will attack the area.
“You are located near facilities and interests belonging to Hezbollah, which the army will act against in the near future,” Israeli military spokesman Avichay Adraee said in a post on social media site X.

After launching missile attack on targets in Israel, Iran had warned a day early that more sever attacks would be carried out if Israel opt for any attack.
The situation in the Middle East is rapidly moving toward widening of the war, a scenario already anticipated by world leaders including UN Chief and the US President as fears of intensifying conflicts were expressed.
