Beirut (TDI): Lebanon’s Health Ministry has said that at least 10 people have been killed in Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon, including three emergency responders.
According to the ministry, the strikes hit several locations in the Nabatiyeh district, where three separate attacks caused the casualties.
Among the dead were a member of the Lebanese Civil Defense and two paramedics from the Islamic Health Committee.
State media reported that more than a dozen areas were targeted in the raids carried out on Saturday.
The ministry strongly condemned the strikes, accusing Israel of “systematic” targeting of emergency and rescue personnel.
The deaths of medical and civil defense workers have added to growing concerns over the safety of humanitarian teams operating in conflict zones.
The incident comes amid continuing cross-border hostilities involving Israel and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, where tensions have remained high despite ongoing diplomatic efforts to contain the wider regional conflict.
