Abu Dhabi (TDI): Citing concerns over possible terror threats, Israel’s National Security Council has updated its travel advisory for the United Arab Emirates, urging its citizens to avoid unnecessary travel to the Gulf nation.
While the official threat level hasn’t changed, it remains at Level 3, which advises caution.
Israeli authorities are voicing new worries that hostile entities might be ramping up efforts to target Jewish and Israeli individuals in the region, according to Reuters.
The Foreign Ministry has reportedly started pulling most diplomatic personnel from the UAE, although no formal comment was issued by officials when approached by media.
