Beirut (TDI): As a part of its mounting attacks, the Israeli army bombarded the southern Lebanese town of Kafr Shuba with internationally strictly banned phosphorus munitions Lebanese media has reported.
According to Lebanon’s National News Agency, Israeli forces shelled the nearby town of Al-Qantara, but gave no information about casualties.

Meanwhile, Israeli jet fighters launched fresh air assaults in the southern suburb of Beirut, including Haret Hreik, allegedly a Hezbollah stronghold.
While, Hezbollah said that its fighters targeted with rockets Israeli troop deployments in the Misgav Am settlement in northern Israel and the Ma’ale Golani barracks in Syria’s occupied Golan Heights.
Israel has been escalating a massive air operation targeting areas in Lebanon since last month and it claims that Hezbollah hideouts are real targets. So far over 1,500 people were killed and more than 1.34 million people were rendered displaced.
Cross-border conflicts between the two sides continued when Israel started offensive in Gaza last October with committing massive human rights violation and war crimes targeting civilians, hospitals, schools and UN convoys providing assistance to the injured and displaced people in the region.

The international community and the UN has aleady condemned Israel’s brutalities in Gaza. Even, the US, staunch ally of Israel, has warned Tel Aviv to not repeat Gaza-style operations in its attacks against areas in Lebanon.
