Rawalpindi (TDI): Director-General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry on Tuesday presented “irrefutable” evidence of Indian-sponsored terrorism in Pakistan, days after New Delhi accused Islamabad of the Pahalgam attack in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
At the start of the press conference, the DG ISPR stated that the briefing was intended to inform local and international media on a specific situation.
He said that India is engaged in state-sponsored cross-border terrorism against Pakistan.
“It has been seven days since the Pahalgam incident, yet no evidence has been presented to support the unfounded accusations against Pakistan,” he added.
The DG ISPR further revealed that New Delhi is running terror networks inside Pakistan, supplying explosives, IEDs, and other lethal materials to militants targeting both security personnel and civilians.
“This irrefutable proof is just one small part of the broader pattern of state-sponsored terrorism India orchestrates against Pakistan,” he said.

India accused Pakistan for the Pahalgam attack without providing any proof and took multiple steps to downgrade relations, such as suspending the Indus Waters Treaty, revoking visas of Pakistanis, and closing Wagah-Attari border crossing.
Islamabad, in response, ordered Indian diplomats and military advisers to leave Pakistan, cancelling visas for Indian citizens, with the exception of Sikh pilgrims, and shutting down the main border crossing from its side.
Pakistan also denies its involvement in the Pahalgam incident and offered to cooperate in a transparent probe.
Giving details about India-sponsored terrorism today, Lt Gen Chaudhry stated that on April 25, the security forces arrested an Indian-trained terror suspect near the Jhelum bus terminal. During the operation, security forces also recovered 2.5kg of explosives from the Jhelum bus stand.
The suspect, identified as Abdul Majeed, was apprehended in the outskirts of Jhelum, who possessed an Indian drone. Moreover, security forces also seized Rs1 million in cash from his home, he added.
Forensic analysis of his mobile phone revealed communication with contacts in India, including direct chats with Indian Subedar named Sukhwinder.
New Delhi is providing explosives to militants to carry out attacks on civilians and security forces inside Pakistan, the DG ISPR added.
He said that intercepted communications revealed that 4 Indian Army officers are complicated in terrorism-related coordination. These officers include Major Sandeep Verma, Subedar Sukhwinder, Havaldar Amit, and one sepoy.

The DG ISPR further mentioned that Indian handlers were guiding terrorists to cause civilian casualties in Pakistan” and to carry out attacks so Pakistan be considered as a hub of terrorism.
He added that militants’ Indian backers even sent videos guiding how to make bombs.
He said that Major Sandeep admitted to planning terrorism from Balochistan to Lahore. On November 22, Subedar Sukhwinder guided Abdul Majeed to a place near Head Marala to recover an IED and a damaged drone.
On November 30, Majeed planted the IED on a military vehicle in Jalalpur Jattan, causing the martyrdom of four soldiers. After the task was completed, he received Rs656,000.
On March 18, Major Sukhwinder shared the site of another IED near Kotli. The next day, schoolchildren spotted a suspicious bag in the area. An army unit swiftly responded and retrieved a bomb from the site.
After the bomb was recovered in Kotli, Indian media falsely reported that 5 bombs were discovered in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
On April 22, 2025, Sukhwinder delivered another IED near Nadalah. The next day, he asked Majeed to carry out a bomb attack at a local bus stand, the ISPR chief added.
