Berlin, 16 October 2021 (TDI): The Ambassador of Iraq to Germany, Luqman Abdul Rahim Al-Faili, participated in the twenty-fourth ‘Arab-German Business Forum,’ organized by the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Berlin. Several businessmen, ministers, ambassadors, and representatives of the Arab diplomatic missions attended the Forum.

The German State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, Andreas Feicht, also joined Ambassador Al-Faili for the event. Speaking at the occasion, Iraq’s Ambassador Luqman Al-Faili maintained that Iraq plays a fundamental role in the region, given its geographical location and international partnerships. He also discussed the business and investment opportunities to further strengthen Baghdad’s economic relations with Berlin.
The three-day Economic Forum was held from October 4 to October 6 in Germany’s capital, Berlin. The participants exchanged views on the Arab-German relationship with respect to logistics, transport, communication, and mobility in the Arab world. Moreover, they highlighted the importance of digital transformation and business sustainability in Arab-German economic relations.
