Iranian Foreign Minister receives phone call from Armenian counterpart

Tehran, 2nd September 2021 (TDI): The newly appointed Iranian Foreign Minister Amirabdollahian received a phone call from the Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

In the phone call, various topics were discussed. They share bilateral relations. Both hoped for the enhancement of cooperation between Iran and Armenia.

Both Foreign Ministers called for accelerating trade and transportation to enhance people-to-people contact between both countries.

Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan also congratulated the Iranian counterpart on his appointment.

Armenia and Azerbaijan are involved in disputes for so long. Therefore, the Foreign Minister of Iran offered Iran’s readiness in helping Armenia and Azerbaijan in solving disputes.
