Tehran (TDI): Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have warned that Saudi Arabia will be unable to contain Yemen’s Houthi movement as attacks on the kingdom intensify.
Guards spokesman Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi said Saudi Arabia would not remain safe from Houthi attacks, claiming that the more Riyadh attacked Yemen, the stronger the retaliation would be.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has described US President Donald Trump’s latest threats of economic punishment as an attempt to divert attention from America’s domestic financial problems, including rising debt and interest costs.
In a post on X, Araghchi accused Washington of pursuing “economic terrorism” and warned that such policies could further damage the global economy and undermine the sovereignty of other countries.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi also criticized Washington, saying the United States was heading towards another failure after what he described as the lack of results from military action against Iran.
He claimed Washington was now turning towards an “economic war” after failing to achieve its objectives through military means. Gharibabadi also accused the US of seeking support from its allies while claiming Iran was on the verge of collapse.

Moreover, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, during a visit to Baghdad, blamed the United States for recent conflicts and instability in the region, including disruptions to energy routes in the Persian Gulf.
During meetings with Iraqi officials, Ghalibaf also stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Iran and Iraq, saying the two countries had an important role in regional affairs.
