TEHRAN, (TDI): Iran’s Foreign Minister has warned UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres that Iran is prepared to deliver a “decisive and regretful” response if Israel retaliates against his country following a missile strike.
On October 1, Iran launched approximately 200 missiles at Israel in retaliation for the killings of two allies, Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh and Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, along with an Iranian general.
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant had previously cautioned that any retaliatory action would be “precise, deadly, and surprising.”
