Iran Threatens to Target Israeli Infrastructure

-

Tehran, (TDI): Iran’s chief of staff, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, has threatened to strike all Israeli infrastructure if Iran is attacked.

This statement follows a missile barrage in which Tehran fired around 200 missiles at Israel, prompting Tel Aviv to vow retaliation against Tehran.

Bagheri stated that such attacks would be repeated with huge intensity and that all infrastructure of the Israeli regime would be targeted.

Iranian media released footage allegedly showing missiles being launched, with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claiming they aimed at three military bases near Tel Aviv.

The Guards reported that 90 percent of the missiles struck their targets, while the Israeli military noted that around 180 missiles were fired, with most intercepted.

In June 2023, Iran revealed an intermediate-range ballistic missile capable of hypersonic speeds, reaching up to 15 times the speed of sound.

Former President Ebrahim Raisi had claimed that this weapon would enhance Iran’s deterrent capabilities and promote peace and stability in the region.
