International Forum on New Inclusive Asia 2021 begins

Kuala Lumpur, 9 September 2021 (TDI): Today, the International Forum on New Inclusive Asia 2021 with the theme “Poverty Alleviation in China – Lessons for Developing Countries” will gather leaders from across Asia held via video conference. 

The Keynote speeches will include leaders from across organizations, departments, and institutions from countries including Malaysia, China, Thailand, the Philippines, Bangladesh, and Pakistan.

This event will highlight poverty alleviation across Asia. Along with providing lessons from each country across the various area of development.

The session is divided into three parts: First, China’s Success Story of Poverty Alleviation covering market-oriented funds that can help the government in poverty alleviation; approaches; experiences, and concepts; and Digital Village Plans and Rural Revitalisation.

Second, Poverty Alleviation and 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) covering International Development Cooperation efforts; SDGs lessons from China; Natural Resources Conservation and Environmental Protection; and monitoring poverty.

Third, Poverty Alleviation in Developing Countries and Lessons from China covering strategic actions for developing countries; rural development; poverty governance, a lesson from Bangladesh perspective; and inspiration from Pakistan.
