Kamra, 11 March 2022 (TDI): The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan graced the ceremony on J-10 C induction with his presence. He stated that the induction of this fighter aircraft into the Pakistan Air Force is a great addition to the country’s defense systems. The ceremony was held in Minhas Air Base, Kamra, today.
PAF on the path to Next Generation Air Force
The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan stated in his address that he and the entire nation are fully confident of the capabilities of the country’s armed forces. The armed forces of Pakistan are fully capable of defending the country in the best way, he added.
Not only that but when it comes to any sort of aggressive move against the country the armed forces will retaliate with “full force”, the Prime Minister underscored.
At this point, he referred to some incidents as well. Pakistan’s response to the Balakot attack, war on terrorism, etc. were some incidents that were mentioned.
He also acknowledged the sacrifices of soldiers and the nation during such times. Furthermore, Imran Khan added that for a country’s sovereignty, freedom, and independence, a strong defense can not be sidelined.
The Pakistan Air Force is always eager to equip itself with the latest technologies. The organization has a forward-looking approach. This modern and indigenous technologies incorporation and approach of the entity was lauded by the Prime Minister.
Back-to-back collaborations, partnerships, focus on development, adoption of technologies and all such initiatives are proof that the Pakistan Air Force aims to transform itself into the Next Generation Air Force. To achieve this aim, the entity i.e PAF is already on the right track.
It is pertinent to mention over here that recently PAF also partnered with Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) on a project. Today it inducted the Chinese J-10 C, so all such examples prove PAF’s commitment to the motherland’s defense.
Inspection of J-10 C
The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan inspected the aircraft. The chiefs of the three services i.e Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Army, and Pakistan Navy, were by the side of the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister sat in the cockpit. There he was briefed about the jet. He also witnessed the flypast, which included the J-10 C jets.
