This groundbreaking device features innovative technologies, including a dual-hinge system and advanced screen-bending capabilities.

The foldable phone market in China experienced a remarkable 114.5 percent increase in shipments in 2023, surpassing 7 million units, according to International Data Corporation (IDC).

At the launch event, Huawei introduced the Mate XT, the first commercial tri-fold smartphone, along with a new edition of the Aito M9 and the newly released Luxeed R7.

The China Unicorn Enterprise Development Tracking Report, released on Sunday by Great Wall Strategy Consultants, reveals that the number of newly funded unicorns—start-ups valued at over US$1 billion—declined from a high of 192 in 2021 to 137 in 2022, and further to 106 last year.

This decline reflects broader challenges in fundraising for start-ups.
