Baghdad: July 20, 2021- (TDI): A Terrorist attack occurred in the Sadr city of Iraq which left almost 35 people dead, and many injured in this suicide attack. The suicide attack occurred on Monday in the Wahailat market in the Sadr city of Iraq.
In a message, ISIS took the responsibility for this attack, and it is almost for the third time in a year that such terrorist attacks hit a market in the populated region of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. The investigation has been initiated against the terrorist and will be held responsible for this heinous crime on the eve of Eid Al Adha.
The Iranian Foreign Minister Spokesman Saeed Khatib Zadeh strongly condemns this recent act of terrorism in the Sadr city of Baghdad and called it as the brutal act and a repetition of the terrorist acts in Iraq which left the Iraqi people oppressed on the eve of Eid al Adha. The FM spokesman also send his condolences to the Iraqi people and stressed on to work with the Iraqi government in its efforts to combat such kinds of terrorist movements in the country.
Whereas on the other hand, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain also strongly condemns the terrorist bombing of a market in Iraq. They expressed their condolences to the victim of the attack and their support and solidarity with the brotherly Republic of Iraq in its war against terrorism and its firm stance against all forms of violence and terrorism.
