Brdo pri Kranju, 02 September 2021 (TDI): The Foreign Minister of Germany, Heiko Maas reached Slovakia to attend the informal-EU meeting of foreign ministers.
The meeting will continue till 2-3 September. The Afghan Issue is the main topic to be discussed in this two-day meeting. Yesterday, Mr. Raab returned from his trip to five regional countries. Today, he has joined his EU counterparts in Slovakia. The security of the entire region, after the takeover of Afghanistan by the Taliban, is important for Europe. The European foreign ministers will formulate a joint response to the security situation in Afghanistan.
