Islamabad: 14th July 2021 (TDI) German Development Agency in Pakistan is working towards gender equality, diversity and addition so that better governance and sustainable development are ensured.
A Member of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Baserat Khan said, ‘The local government election in tribal districts is a great opportunity for women to raise their needs and issues they face and participate to resolve developmental problems at grass root level’. Such agencies have to come forward and work the same way GIZ Pakistan is working towards gender equality and women’s issues because this is the only way things might change for women in this country. Just like all the other issues in the country women’s issues exist as well and must be given importance.
