Former Pakistani Ambassador’s daughter murdered in Islamabad

Islamabad, 23 July 2021-(TDI):  Noor Mukadam, 27, daughter of former Pakistan diplomat to South Korea and Kazakhstan (Shaukat Mukadam) was found dead after alleged abduction and murder. The first information report (FIR) was registered against Zahir Jaffar who has an acquaintance with Noor. Twitter’s top trend is #JusticeforNoor. While commenting on this brutal murder of the young girl, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that he cannot express strongly enough about the recent violence against women in the country. He further added that there is no place in our society, lives and religion or culture for such acts. He stressed that there is a need to do more for the prevention of such cases and justice to be done for women.
