Amman, 12 November 2021 (TDI): On Wednesday, Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi met with UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. They discussed how to strengthen collaboration in various areas in order to represent the countries’ historical, strategic, and brotherly connections. Safadi and Sheikh Abdullah expressed a desire to expand their cooperation in economics, investment, tourism, culture, and defense.
They also emphasized the significance of ongoing coordination on regional concerns and concerted efforts to tackle common challenges. They expressed their wish to resolve regional conflicts in order to achieve security and stability while also serving Arab interests.
Safadi also highlighted the Kingdom’s pleasure in its ties with the UAE, applauding Abu Dhabi’s unwavering brotherly attitude. This supports Jordan’s efforts to overcome economic issues in Amman.
In addition, the Minister complimented his Emirati counterpart on the success of the 2020 Dubai Expo. This is seen as an Arab success because it coincides with the UAE’s 50th-anniversary festivities. Sheikh Abdullah expressed his delight in the countries’ and leaders’ ties. The UAE values the Kingdom’s important role in enhancing collective Arab action and achieving peace and stability.
