Bern, 7 September 2021 (TDI): Foreign minister of Switzerland, Ignazio Cassis invited the Kazakhstan Foreign Minister, Mukhtar Tileuberdi for discussion between the two countries’ betterment and cooperation. During the meeting, both sides discussed the situation of regional safety. Two agreements were also signed in this meeting between the states.
During the official visit, Cassis has conveyed his heartiest greetings to Kazakhstan on their 30th independence day. He reassured that Kazakhstan is an important partner for Switzerland.
The first agreement signed during a visit was stopping visas of diplomatic passports, while the other agreement was for the people who are employed in diplomatic missions. The meeting also discussed the problems of the Afghanistan situation and its outcomes for the different nations of Central Asia.
