New York, 20 September 2021 (TDI): Minister of Foreign Affairs Singapore, Vivian Balakrishnan is attending the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The dates of the session have been announced from 21st to 25th September. In this week he will also meet the senior administration of the Joe Biden government, a cabinet of Congress to discuss multiple issues.

According to the schedule of United Nations General Assembly sessions, Vivian will give Singapore’s statement at the UNGA bench to promote multilateralism and cooperation between states to maintain peaceful co-existence.
In addition, he will take part in the 14th Ministerial meeting of the Global governance group (G3) to share common working grounds as per capacity. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that he would also have an informal discussion with a group of digital technology experts.
