Foreign Minister of Turkey meets Qatar’s Ambassador


Ankara, Turkey: July 07, 2021- (TDI): Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu today met with the Ambassador of State of Qatar to Turkey Salem bin Mubarak Al Shafi. Mevlut Cavusoglu took to twitter and shared about their meetup.

The FM of Turkey shared that he welcomed the role of Qatar in its efforts for conflict resolution and furthermore, will continue working with Qatar to bring peace and stability in Afghanistan too. During their meeting they also discussed bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest. Both Qatar and Turkey support the matter of regional peace as well.

Earlier, the State of Qatar and Turkey established their bilateral relations in 1972 and both have strong military ties as well with each other. Both nations support each other and signed various agreements concerning both.
