Doha: July 12, 2021- (TDI): The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani today had a meeting with the US Special representative for Peace in Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad during his visit to the State of Qatar.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Al Thani took to Twitter and shared the meeting details. The topics viewed during this meeting were the bilateral cooperation between both the countries and the latest developments in Afghanistan.
Both the USA and Qatar recognized the role of the State of Qatar in achieving stability in the region and encouraged the dialogue and peace talks that could provide a lasting solution in Afghanistan.
