Islamabad, 2nd September 2021 (TDI): The Foreign Minister of the Netherland, MS. Sigrid Kaag came on an official visit to Pakistan. The official visit addressed crucial issues, including the situation in Pakistan’s North-East neighbor Afghanistan. Pakistan has provided its utmost help to Netherland in its efforts for the safe evacuation of diplomatic and other staff members as wee as their families from Afghanistan. Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Imran Khan, and Netherlands Prime Minister, Mark Rutte discussed the situation in Afghanistan over a phone call.
The Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, and The Foreign Minister of the Netherland, MS. Sigrid Kaag further discussed the bilateral relations and ways to build and strengthen the cooperation between the two states in diverse fields. Pakistan and Netherland currently enjoy close and cordial relations as Netherland is one of the largest trading partners of Pakistan in the European Union.
