Islamabad (TDI): The much awaited Gout de France (Good France) is back in Pakistan. The second edition of this initiative, which takes French cuisine around the world to familiarize people with French food and taste, is here to stay from June 14-29, 2025.
In Pakistan, this exciting culinary adventure is led by the French Embassy and Alliance Française. Food lovers in three major cities of Pakistan, Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore, have a good chance to try out French cuisine at dozens of famous restaurants.
Good France is a great example of cultural exchange, all the while promoting sustainable cooking practices and winning hearts through the universal language of food.

In a recent interview with The Express Tribune, French Ambassador to Pakistan Nicolas Galey said, “Cultural diplomacy has been very traditionally part of our foreign policy it’s the case of course in Pakistan”
Meanwhile, the Embassy is encouraging food lovers to visit the select restaurants and become part of this food festival, getting a chance to savor the best of French cuisine and experience the fusion of Franco-Pakistani culinary friendship.
Gout de France was first launched in 2015 and now has a global footprint, offering French cuisine in more than 150 countries annually, and fostering cultural ties via culinary diplomacy.
