Ankara/Muscat, 29 September 2021 (TDI): The Foreign Minister (FM) of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu held an online meeting with the FM Oman Badr Albusaidi.
Both sides decided to conduct a meeting on “Joint Economic Cooperation.”

-Will hold the Joint Economic Commission meeting. Also agreed to further develop our relations through new cooperation mechanisms.

Ministers affirmed to open new avenues for cooperation and devise mechanisms to further the bilateral relationship.
Regional issues were also on the agenda of the meeting and encompassed the status quo of Afghanistan, Syria and Yemen.
FM Oman tweeted that he had a constructive meeting on the issues pertaining to the globe and region.

Oman and Turkey have been engaged in cooperation on a multitude of projects and are always looking forward to consolidating the mutual ties while chalking out the areas of bilateral interest.
