FM Hungary visits Greece

Athens, 2 October 2021 (TDI): Nikos, Densias, the Foreign Minister of Greece welcomed Peter Szijjarto, Foreign Minister of Hungary.

The Hungarian Foreign Minister visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece and met his counterpart. In the meeting, the two ministers talked about enhancing their bilateral relations. The two foreign ministers also signed an MoU on collaboration in the area of diplomatic training.
They also discussed the European agenda on the Western Balkans. The emerging refugee crises were also part of their discussion. They further debated on the developments in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
The two countries enjoy friendly relations and have historical cultural ties. They are also cooperating within the platforms of the European Union and in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
