RAWALPINDI, (TDI): Security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation in Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday.
During the operation, five terrorists were killed after exchanging intense firing, said a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The operation, launched based on reliable intelligence, led to a fierce confrontation between the forces and the militants. Two other terrorists were injured during the exchange of fire.

A clearance operation is now underway in the area due to the potential presence of more militants.

The ISPR reaffirmed the security forces’ commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country.
