Rawalpindi (TDI): Security forces have arrested five terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan, according to a military statement released on Saturday.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that security forces conducted a successful operation in District Pishin on October 18, targeting the reported presence of Khwarij (terrorists).
During the operation, five terrorists were apprehended, along with a substantial cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives, including three suicide vests.
The detained individuals are believed to have been involved in multiple terrorist attacks and were planning to target both security forces and innocent civilians.

In a separate operation on October 17, 2024, in District Zhob, security forces engaged in a firefight with militants, resulting in the elimination of two Khwarij fighters.
Following the exchange, a significant quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered during the area’s sanitization.
