Prague, 18 August 2021(TDI): The first evacuation flight from Kabul, Afghanistan has safely landed in the capital of the Czech Republic. In this flight, many children and women were on board. Foreign Minister Jakub Kulhanek said that they will continue their evacuation efforts so that people from Kabul are given safe haven in the Czech Republic.
It is the first evacuation flight that took off from Kabul’s International Airport and landed in Prague. According to PM Andrej Babis, 46 people were there on the flight which includes Czech nationals and Afghan officials from the Czech embassy.
The present situation in Afghanistan has stirred global concern about the rapid change of government and various humanitarian and social security concerns emerging from Kabul. International governments are working to assist the Afghan people and to avoid any further conflict.
