Islamabad, 3 July 2023(TDI): Charge d’affaires of Embassy of People’s Republic of China to Pakistan Pang Chunxue called on Finance Minister of Pakistan Ishaq Dar at the finance division, today on Monday.
During the meeting, the country’s finance czar highlighted the two nations’ long-lasting and deep-rooted brotherly relationship.
Both countries agreed that Pakistan and China hold strong bilateral relations in a number of economic ways.
Pang Chunxue expressed China’s keen interest in expanding trade and investment partnerships with Pakistan.
She also emphasizes the potential for mutually beneficial outcomes. She also expressed goodwill gestures and assured the continuous support of the Chinese government to Pakistan.
Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar also reciprocated their views. He acknowledged the significant progress achieved through the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) flagship project.
He also expressed gratitude for China’s support for Pakistan in economic development.
Both countries discussed the importance of increasing people-to-people interaction, promoting cultural exchange, and also expanding educational opportunities for students from both nations.

They further agreed to explore avenues to expand collaboration in these areas. And also aims to foster greater understanding and friendship.
The meeting between Pang Chunxue and Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar concluded on a positive note, with both sides expressing optimism about the future of China-Pakistan relations.
They reiterated their commitment to deepening bilateral ties and exploring new avenues for cooperation to achieve shared prosperity and sustainable development.
