Islamabad (TDI): Pakistani high school graduates and university students now have a chance to pursue higher education in Russia, thanks to a new initiative from the Russian Embassy in Pakistan.
The embassy announced the start of official registration for the online stage of the Open Olympiad at the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) for foreign applicants.
“Good news for Pakistani high school and university students who wish to continue their studies in Russia!” the embassy shared on X, adding that both high school graduates and final-year university students are eligible to participate.
Top performers in the Olympiad will have the opportunity to study at RUDN with full tuition coverage under the Russian government quota.

Runner-ups may receive substantial tuition discounts and could also qualify for free education, depending on seat availability after the winners are admitted.
To participate, applicants must register online and submit scanned copies of their passport or national ID, educational diplomas or certificates, and grades from their most recent year of study.

Candidates who pass the online test will be invited to an individual interview as the next stage of the selection process.
