EU thankful to Germany for Afghan evacuation 


Belgium, 1st September 2021 (TDI): President of the European Council, Charles Michel thanked the Chancellor for Germany, Angela Merkel for their tireless efforts for the safe evacuation of European Union nationals, which included the staff members and their families from Afghanistan. They discussed the current issues at hand; the challenges faced in achieving broader European Union agendas.
