Ethiopian Airlines Awarded 2026 Four‑Star Global Airline by APEX

Addis Ababa (TDI): Ethiopian Airlines has been named a 2026 Four‑Star Global Airline by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX), placing the carrier among the world’s leading airlines in terms of passenger satisfaction, service, and innovation.

The award was announced at the APEX/IFSA Global Expo in Long Beach, California, following a large‑scale review process.

Nearly one million flights across almost 600 airlines worldwide were evaluated, with passenger feedback forming a central component of the ratings.

Mesfin Tasew, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, said the honor underscores the professionalism and dedication of the airline’s staff: “We are deeply honored that our passengers, whose trust we value above all, have rated us among the world’s best.”

He added that the recognition motivates the airline to raise standards in customer experience, innovation, and operations. The Ethiopian Airlines operate a fleet that includes modern aircraft such as Boeing 737s, 777s, 787s, Airbus A350‑900 & A350‑1000, and De Havilland Q400s.
