Baghdad, 12 January 2024(TDI): The Embassy of Pakistan in Iraq proudly announces its active participation in the 47th session of the Baghdad International Trade Fair, a pivotal event fostering international trade and collaboration.

The trade fair is scheduled to take place from January 10th to January 19th, 2024, at the prestigious venue in Baghdad.

This grand event has attracted significant global attention, with 19 countries and over 800 companies converging to explore new avenues of economic cooperation.

Among the prominent participants from Pakistan are renowned brands like GFC Fans and Lucky Cement Pakistan (Najmat Al Samawa Cement Co.), both of whom have set up impressive stalls to showcase their innovative products and services.

The Embassy of Pakistan views this participation as a testament to the robust economic ties between Pakistan and Iraq. By actively engaging in this international trade fair, both nations aim to strengthen existing partnerships and explore new avenues for collaboration across various sectors.

Ambassador Muhammad Zeeshan Ahmed the representative of the Embassy of Pakistan in Iraq, expressed optimism about the potential outcomes of this participation, stating, “The Baghdad International Trade Fair serves as a bridge between nations, fostering economic growth, and enhancing bilateral ties. We are confident that the presence of Pakistani companies and the diverse range of products they offer will contribute to the success of this esteemed event.”
