Cairo, 9 September 2021 (TDI): According to Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ahmed Hafez on his official Twitter account, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met with Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi on Thursday at Tahrir Palace in downtown Cairo to discuss regional advancements in light of Cairo and Amman’s agreement on their respective positions.
The two ministers exchanged views on the pressing Arab issues ahead of the Arab League’s foreign ministerial conference, which begins today in Cairo.
Jordan’s Foreign Minister met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in late July 2021, expressing Jordan’s eagerness to benefit from Egypt’s development projects across the board.
