Beijing, 17 September (TDI): On Wednesday, 19th Edgar Snow Symposium took place in Beijing and about 300 people participated offline and online. Delegates and experts from the United States and China shared views on deepening the Sino-US relationship in this Edgar Snow Symposium.
This symposium is of great importance as it’s a non-governmental platform keeping communication between the US and China for 39 years. This year the theme of the symposium was “Putting forward Edgar Snow’s spirit and carrying the genuine friendship.” All the participants emphasized deepening the coordination between the US and China.
Deputy leader of the China Society, Liu Xinsheng, pledged a prospect for people-to-people friendly communications, like communication in education and culture and that would be a stabilizer to promote the mutual benefits of two countries.
