Quito, 11 September 2021 (TDI): Ecuadorian President Guillermo Lasso appreciated the Chinese help in realizing the Covid-19 vaccination goal.
The South American country has till now vaccinated its 9 million people in only 100 days with the help of China.
According to the Ecuadorian Ministry of Health, most of the inoculated vaccines were Chinese developed. The Chinese Pharmaceutical companies Sinovac Biotech and CanSino manufactured vaccines were administered to the Ecuadorian natives.
Lasso labeled this plan a ‘success’ and said that the Chinese Government understood the urgency of the need for vaccination and provided them with timely help to counter the pandemic. 65 percent of the vaccines applied in the first phase of the plan were provided.”
