Islamabad, 12 August 2024 (TDI): Pakistan’s High Commissioner to UK Dr. Mohammad Faisal has commended the role of non-Muslim minorities in national development.

In his special message on National Day of Minorities, he said that every year, the National Day of Minorities commemorates the contributions that our non-Muslim Pakistani nationals are making to the national development wherever they are settled across the continents.

We express our gratitude to our minority communities for their commendable services for the uplift of the motherland Pakistan, he said.

Dr. Faisal said that this day also reminds us of our religious, constitutional, and political responsibility to safeguard minorities’ rights and freedoms.

He further said that our minority brothers and sisters have served the country, with merit, in all spheres of society and professions.

Let us reaffirm our resolve for the welfare and betterment of the minorities and their fullest inclusion in the national life and development.
