On Saturday, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, chairman of the high council for National Reconciliation, had a meeting with Wang Yu, Ambassador of China in Kabul. They talked about the latest political and security developments in Afghanistan.

Both parties engaged in an open conversation concerning the Afghan peace process, including the current situation of the peace talks in Doha. Both sides strongly called for unity and the immediate end to war and violence in Afghanistan.

In the end, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah appreciated China for its ongoing assistance to Afghanistan and peace efforts.
