Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation, has expressed and shown his deep concerns on the behalf of HCNR about the Taliban attack in Herat. The Taliban had attacked United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) offices. Due to the attack, people have suffered various injuries and some have died at the spot.
Dr. Abdullah Abdullah had offered his deepest sympathy for the injuries and he paid serious condolences for the loss of life. He stated that International Law strongly condemns and prohibits such attacks and violent actions. Those who are involved in attacks need to be brought to justice and justice has to be served at any cost.
