Tashkent, 21 October 2023 (TDI): The Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan, Bakhromjon Aloyev, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan to Uzbekistan, Ahmed Farooq on October 20.
The meeting was centered on discussing the development of a strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the prospects for the further development of multifaceted cooperation, primarily in the fields of trade, economic, investment transport, and communications spheres.
Besides that, an agreement was reached to continue coordinating the efforts of Uzbekistan and Pakistan in the international arena, in particular within the framework of the UN, SCO, ECO, and OIC.
Also, both parties discussed the schedule and organizational aspects of upcoming events in bilateral and multilateral formats.
The Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan in his former meetings with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan perpetually talked through over prospects for further development of Uzbekistan-Pakistan strategic partnership at both bilateral and international forums.

Just as the recent meeting, both mentioned parties during the meeting on May 22, exchanged views on issues of cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan within the framework of international organizations, in particular the UN, SCO, OIC, ECO, and others.
Similarly, during a meeting on April 10, between the Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan, the mentioned parties paid particular attention to the prospects for expanding cooperation in the field of ensuring interregional interconnectedness between Central Asia and South Asia.
In similarity to the recent meeting, an agreement was also reached during the meeting on April 10, to continue coordinating the efforts of Uzbekistan and Pakistan in the international arena, in particular, within the framework of the UN, SCO, OIC, and ECO.
