Deputy FM of Zimbabwe visited Democratic Republic of Congo

Kinshasa, 18 September 2021(TDI): Deputy Foreign Minister of Zimbabwe, David Musabayana and his delegation visited the trade event organized in Kinshasa. During the event, Deputy Foreign Minister David Musabayana, has seen cooperation and opportunities for Zimbabwe and suggested Zimbabwe should be secured to represent the regional market. Further, David Musabayana stated that the collaboration with ZimTrade will be helpful to secure a footprint in the African continent. Moreover, David Musabayana expressed gratitude towards the product qualities of Zimbabwe and stated that buyers in Kinshasa were impressed and were looking forward to engage themselves in business with Zimbabwe.

Deputy Foreign Minister David Musabayana also mentioned that the strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries would be enhanced under the framework of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), South African Development Community (SADC), Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA).
