Deputy FM Afghanistan meets Korean Ambassador


Kabul, 11 August 2021 (TDI): At the Afghanistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mirwais Nab, Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs of Afghanistan, held a meeting with Mr. Choi Tiho, Ambassador of Korea to Kabul.

The Deputy Foreign Minister of Afghanistan appreciated and praised the effective support of Korea to Afghanistan over the years. He also negotiated and discussed the current security conditions in Afghanistan as well as the increasing violence of the Taliban in Taliban-controlled areas. He also expressed his concerns about the displacement of thousands of Afghan people.
The Korean Ambassador and The Deputy Foreign Minister of Afghanistan highlighted the importance of political settlement and peaceful resolution to the Afghan conflict. The Korean ambassador has guaranteed their support and cooperation with the government and Afghan people in the future.
