Cote d’Ivoire received vaccines from US

Yamoussoukro, 22 August 2021 (TDI): Côte d’Ivoire received 1,180,530 doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine from the government of the United States of America, yesterday. The doses were delivered to Ivory Coast through COVAX and Gavi vaccine alliance.

These donations will help the people of Cote d’Ivoire to defeat the pandemic.

The US said that these vaccines are part of our commitment to end the pandemic and save lives.

As of August 20, Cote d’Ivoire has registered 52,936 confirmed COVID 19 cases and 373 deaths, according to World Health Organization.
