San Jose, 14 July 2022 (TDI): Costa Rica reaffirmed its commitment to building improved recovery strategies for the hemisphere on 12 July.

The country did this in order to maintain the progression of the Pro Tempore Presidency of Argentina during the thirty-ninth session of ECLAC.
Pro Tempore Presidency of Argentina
During the rule of President of Argentina Alberto Fernández, Argentina assumed the pro tempore presidency, on the 7th of January. This was of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) for the present year of 2022.
Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) was established by the Economic and Social Council resolution 106 (VI) of 25 February 1948. This council delivers and dominates economic as well as social resolution.
The extent of the Commission’s work was enhanced later in order to include the Caribbean countries, by the resolution of 1984. The commission launched its headquarters in Mexico City which serves the sub-region of Central America.
High-Level Political Forum 2022
While the High Level Political Forum (HLPF) performs a meeting annually under the guidance of the Economic and Social Council. The meeting takes place for about eight days with a three-day ministerial segment.
The meeting started on 5 July and ended on 7 July. It resumed from Monday and will end on 15 July. The purpose of the meeting was to reflect on the recovery policies to evaluate how to reverse countries from the Pandemic downfall.
Adding to this, it will also be reviewing the possible goals for the development of a better economy. It also looks up to building strong ties among the countries in the region of Latin America.
Along these lines, Costa Rica can build better relations with other Latin American countries. This will be an inclusive recovery without inequality and poverty in the region.
As a result, this will allow the country to enhance its financial development and achieve more sufficient market goals.
