Addis Ababa, 14 September 2021 (TDI): The Commissioner of African Union Political Affairs Peace and Security Council (AUPSC), Bankole Adeoye with his delegation visited Comoros on Monday. During the visit, Commissioner also met with the President of Comoros Azali Assoumani.
According to the decision of the African Union Political Affairs Peace and Security, the Commissioner AUPSC, Bankole Adeoye led a mission for preventing conflict to the Union of Comoros. During meeting with several stakeholders, the mission for conflict prevention continuously called for building confidence towards comprehensive talks and negotiations and stressed at the national union of Comoros. Furthermore, the delegation further stressed that no one will be left behind and the mission will do everything in its jurisdiction to prevent conflict and provide assistance.
