COAS, Saudi Commander Hold Talks on Regional Security and Defense

Rawalpindi (TDI): Commander of the Royal Saudi Land Forces, Lieutenant General Fahad Bin Saud Al-Johani, called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters (GHQ) here on Wednesday.

According to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, regional security, and ways to enhance bilateral defense cooperation.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the longstanding and brotherly ties between the Armed Forces of Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The COAS expressed satisfaction over the robust defense collaboration between the two countries and underscored the importance of continued cooperation in training, capacity building, and intelligence sharing.

Lieutenant General Al-Johani acknowledged the professionalism of the Pakistan Army and appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in maintaining regional peace and stability.
